"One of the most helpful discoveries, is that there is a part of the mind, which the psychologists call the subconscious, that works while you are sleeping or even while you are relaxing or engaged in some other task far removed from writing. I have found it possible to train this part of the mind to do a pretty organized job. Very often I have awakened in the morning to find a problem of technique, or plot, or character, which has long been troubling me, completely solved while I had been sleeping."
Williams, John "The Wisdom of Your Subconscious Mind" 1964 pp46 ISBN 0-13-961482-6
I have put my subconscious to work during the night ... to work on solving my problems. Many times I have found the solution by the morning. I keep a journal by my bed and write down thoughts in the middle of the night as they come to me.

Regenerate Your Nervous System
Piracetam, unlike many other drugs, appears to have a regenerative effect on the nervous system.
One of the most intriguing effects of piracetam is that it promotes the flow of information between the right and left hemispheres of the brain. (Buresova, 1976)
We know that communication between the two sides of the brain is associated with flashes of creativity. (Dean & Morganthaler, 1990)
Buresova, O., Bures, J. "Piracetam-Induced Facilitation of Interhemispheric Transfer of Visual Information in Rats." Psychopharmacolgia. 1976, Vol 46, 93-102
Dean & Morganthaler "Smart Drugs & Nutrients" 1990, pp 44.

Rejuvenate Your Memory: Eat Blueberries ...
New USDA analyses had recently found blueberries to be an antioxidant superpower, better than strawberries or spinach. Blueberries reverse deficits in coordination and balance.
All three - blueberries, spinach, and strawberries - improved short-term memory.

Is Chocolate Good for Your Brain?
Funny, but most people already know that eating chocolate can give your brain a mood-lifting fix.
Chocolate contains several pharmacologically active chemicals that stimulate the central nervous system including phenylethylamine, similar in some aspects to amphetamine.
Chocolate chemicals may activate receptors in the brain that give heightened sensations of euphoria.
The fat boosts other "feel good" brain chemicals better known as endorphins.
Just another reason to dip into the chocolate bowl this holiday season.
Cheers,
Shawn

Finals Week and Smart Drugs
This is the time of the school year that cramming for exams means all-nighters and hours spent stuffing as much info into your brain. Use modafinil and desmopressin to help keep you up and imprint new information for those exams.

Smart Drugs & Brain Wave Toys
How many people actually use "Smart Drugs" ?
I read the book "Smart Drugs and Nutrients" by Dean & Morganthaler back in 1990 and have tested Piracetem and Hydergine with great results.
I took Piracetam and Hydergine to help me in school and as a result I experienced profound levels of concentration.
